REVIEW FILM ALIVE 2020
Hello everyone! This time I will review a film that I have watched more than 2 times. The film is titled Alive. Alive is a film from Korea. This thriller-survival genre film, directed by Cho Il hyung, became the first film that was able to bring 1 million viewers to theaters during a pandemic. This film is 1.39 hours long and the rating is quite high. The film, played by Yoo Ah In and Park Shin Hye, has become one of the hits in Korea. Telling about a zombie outbreak, this film presents zombies as the main object as well as presents a different tension.
Alive begins with Oh Joon-woo (Yoo Ah-in), a gamer who lives alone at home while his father, mother, and older sister go to work. While playing an online game, his friends tell him strange situations are happening around them like a movie. Joon-woo then looks outside, around where he lives. The situation is in shambles. People are frantically running and lots of accidents. Until he was stunned to see someone pounce on someone else. It made him rush to see the news.
During his days in the house, Joon-wo begins to run out of food and common sense. At that low point, he meets Kim Yoo-bin (Park Shin-hye), a resident of the apartment in the vicinity who is still alive. The two began to help each other in the midst of limited food, drink, and without telephone and internet networks. However, without realizing it, Joon-wo and Yoo-bin turned out to have to face life problems other than zombies and stomachs.
Overall, Alive is a very cool film in my opinion. This film is very interesting of course. This film is suitable for those of you who want to watch a film that is not too long and not too bloody, it is entertaining enough to relieve fatigue.
